Pierhouse, a leading provider of marketing management solutions, has consolidated its net.tickIT signage offer since its acquisition of Eastman-POS so that all functions - from the creation, proofing and publishing elements at head office to the printing of an individual ticket in store - are now web- based.
“There is an increase in demand for tools that enables retailers to change a product price or offer across all their POS marketing output as fast as it can be amended in their EPOS system,” says Ian Hook, managing director, Pierhouse Business Solutions. “This means that changes have to be within hours, if not minutes, and certainly not days. By having everything web-based, retailers can react fast. We can populate screen content in 10 minutes and the printed collateral across a retailer’s entire estate within two hours – and at every level we know that the message will be on brand and in store compliance can be measured and consequently improved.”
The new net.tickIT solution has been designed so that it can accommodate a request for a price ticket or a marketing message for a store or a retail website or even to a mobile device.
“Our decision to migrate to the .NET platform has enabled us to develop a single, scaleable and flexible solution that can meet the current and future demands from retailers to more effectively manage POP and be more responsive to changing market forces,” adds Hook.
“As more retailers are looking to expand their operations internationally, our solution can also easily manage the production of POP for a new store, whether it be in the UK, China or Russia.”
The net.tickIT solution imports data from head office systems so that there is just a single point of truth for product and price information, as well as a wealth of other information such as equivalent weights, currencies, logos, pictures, warranty details and payment plans, all of which can be accessed over the Internet. Within the store, tickets can be printed any size: Label, SEL, swing ticket and even A3 depending on the printer.
Pierhouse is offering net.tickIT in partnership with US technology company AccessVia, whose solutions are live in 150 retailers and in daily use in some 50,000 outlets.
