Somerfield and Pierhouse have been short-listed for a Retail Systems Award 2008 in the best use of in store marketing technology category, for the adoption of the net.tickIT solution to deliver accurate POS throughout the retailer’s estate of over 900 stores.
The solution, which enables each branch to produce only the POS it needs, has reduced .materials wastage and man hours and also met a key corporate strategic requirement: to improve customer service.

The Retail Systems Awards, now in its third year, recognises excellence and innovation in providing information technology to the retail sector. The Awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Wednesday 29 October at Grosvenor House, London.
